Make Your Honda Behave with Suspension Techniques Sway Bars
Whether a car is bone stock or highly modified, it can greatly benefit from a set of larger diameter, aftermarket sway bars. Our 1995 Honda Civic was the perfect candidate for new sway bars for a couple of reasons. First, the car needed added support to handle the curves and corners with the Zex nitrous-assisted 1.6 liter VTEC motor under the hood. Second, a new coil-over suspension was installed to the give the vehicle a lower, more aggressive stance. As a general rule, it is a good idea to upgrade the sway bars anytime you change suspension height to compensate for the vehicle’s altered center of gravity.
We chose Suspension Techniques sway bars The front bar is one inch in diameter; the rear bar is 3/4 inch in diameter. The bars have tight bends for improved ground clearance—perfect for a lowered ride like our Civic. The Suspension Technique bars provided an affordable way to eliminate body roll and upgrade the overall handling and control of our Civic—and they can do the same for your vehicle.
