Edelbrock has been the leader in performance intake manifold design since Vic Edelbrock built his record-breaking slingshot manifold back in 1938. Edelbrock intake manifolds benefit from decades of experience building high flow performance manifolds for carbureted and fuel injected engines.

Edelbrock offers a line of manifolds for everything from your boat to your race car, and not just for small block Chevy and Ford V8 engines either. Edelbrock makes manifolds for big block and V6 engines, as well as intakes for many different manufacturers.

Edelbrock Performer: This line offers improved performance across the rpm range.

Edelbrock Performer: This line offers improved performance across the rpm range.

Edelbrock Performer EPS: These manifolds focus on mid-range power.

Edelbrock Performer RPM: These manifolds are optimized for top end power without ruining drivability. This makes them a great choice for street cars pulling double duty at the track.

Edelbrock Victor Jr.: When you don’t mind sacrificing drivability for top end power, this is the manifold for you. Victor Jr. manifolds make power from 3,500-7,500 rpm.

Marine: These intake manifolds come with special brass inserts to help with the challenges faced by marine cooling systems.

Carburetor Mounting Flange

Edelbrock offers manifolds that will work with your OEM 4-barrel spread bore carburetor, the more common square fore flange, or the Dominator flange. They also make 2-barrel manifolds. If you’re not sure what kind of mounting flange you need, click Here.

Intake Style

Most intakes can be described as either dual plane or single plane.

A single plane intake has one opening for the carburetor. This improves air flow at high rpm for more horsepower, but air velocity is poor at low engine speeds. These manifolds are mostly used with race engines.

Dual plane intakes split the plenum opening, dividing the intake into two sections. Each section feeds one bank of cylinders. They work better at low rpm, making them a great choice for street engines.

High Rise intakes

A high rise intake manifold is taller than a stock or low rise manifold. The added runner length improves air velocity at high rpm, increasing horsepower. However, the extra height can cause problems with hood clearance.

Multi-Carb Setups

If you want the ultimate in performance, Edelbrock has several multi-carb options.

Dual quads can give your engine a big performance boost as long as it can make use of the extra fuel you’ll get with two 4-barrel carburetors.
Triple deuces give you a performance boost and a cool retro look with three two barrel carburetors.
Tunnel rams combine an extreme high rise manifold with dual quads. If max horsepower is your goal, this is the intake for you. However, they are not good for off idle or part throttle acceleration.

Intake Manifold Finish

With some models, you can choose between raw aluminum or a powder coated black finish. If you want something that really stands out, consider a polished intake manifold. The shiny finish looks great next to chrome engine components.
