ICEngineworks Cut Systems are the second step in a unique process allowing engine builders and fabricators to create exhaust headers which fit perfectly--and save enormous amounts of time and money. The first stage of this overall process involves snapping together one-inch plastic sections until the ideal path for each pipe is complete, from cylinder to collector. This gives you a full-scale 3-D model to line up, mark, and cut each section of U- and J-bend stainless steel with. ICEngineworks supplies a universal aluminum radial cut plate with stud, along with machined cutting spacers of varying widths … making the project simple and precise using a standard vertical band saw. These tube-cutting tools are available for a variety of outside diameter "building blocks," depending on your header pipe size requirements (i.e., 1 5/8 in., 1 3/4 in., 1 7/8 in., 2 in.).

ICEngineworks HPDE tube cutting spacers are designed to slide over the workbench of a standard vertical band saw to align the U or J bends and center the blade's path. They're manufactured from durable aluminum and then anodized for maximum protection. A variety of spacers are available for different tube diameter and radius measurements.
