You'll have a rough time finding a better shifter than these Long shifters for your five speed transmission. The H-pattern shifters have a patented rail slide, heavy duty 7/16 in. rods for more rigidity and less deflection for more positive shifts, plus a spring-loaded handle for improved feel. And if you're going racing, the Long shifters are the only shifters of their kind to have the reverse lockout required for competition use.
