They feature tough heavy-duty parts, strong pressure plates, and a nodular iron flywheel. These kits are not intended for racing or competition use. Quiet clutch kits eliminate floater plate rattle when the clutch is pressed in, but gear rollover noise is inevitable when changing to a solid mass flywheel. It's often heard when the vehicle is under load at low rpm or idling, and it sounds like marbles in the transmission. Please educate yourself before purchase. Why start your engine build with a dirty, old, worn-out production block that needs hundreds or thousands of dollars of machine work--when you can start with a new heavy-duty casting full of high-performance features. We ship these blocks mostly finished but leave the cylinder bore .005" undersize, your machine shop will have to hone them for proper size. Starting with 66mm inducer sizes and working up to 79mm, the SUM-2600 Series turbos are reliable and a great value. The SUM-2700 Series are true race turbos starting at 76mm and go up from there. T4, T6, and V-band turbine housings are available. These are specially designed, balanced, and precision assembled in North America for class leading racers. They feature 2618 billet forged compressor wheels that offer superior flow and dependability at high boost.
