MechMan High-Output Racing Alternators

MechMan 6-phase hairpin high-output alternators offer a solution to the inadequate alternators that come from the factory on specified vehicles. These replacement units feature twin rectifiers with 12 massive press-fit diodes, as compared to the small 8-diode rectifier in the stock alternator. Even mild performance builds will typically consume more amperage than what stock alternators can provide. Hairpin stator technology provides better high-rpm durability and better resistance to heat from the turbo manifold. The alternators utilize a high rpm-friendly larger diameter pulley, and bolt directly in place of the original equipment. MechMan High-Output 6-Phase Alternators

MechMan High-Output 6-Phase alternators offers incredible low-rpm output in a compact and durable package. Highly efficient, these units use less horsepower than conventional 3-phase alternators. Their 12 diodes, twin rectifier plates, and outstanding airflow ensure much better durability than standard Delco CS130-based alternators, even in severe conditions. This custom designed housing directly replaces standard CS130 "left mount" alternators as used on 1987-95 Chevy C1500 pickups and some aftermarket accessory drives. A side output stud and seamless rear cover with a side output plug allow for better clearance from the back of the alternator to the front of the engine and a smooth appearance. A single wire on the provided pigtail gets connected to any ignition-switched 12+ volt source to turn the alternator on and off with the ignition switch. Simply run a properly sized positive and ground cable from the alternator to the terminals of the battery and the alternator will work perfectly, regardless of what kind of wiring harness you have. Because of their compact size and standard GM mounting ears, these alternators also work well in many aftermarket or custom bracket installations. MechMan Indicator Light Module Connectors

MechMan indicator light module connectors are for use on GM vehicles with MechMan alternators and equipped with a 2-pin regulator and a RVC (Regulated Voltage Control) sensor. Simply plug module into your vehicle's factory harness and tie out of the way. This will eliminate the check charging system code (battery light). These are especially popular for the customer who wants to bypass the RVC system so that they can run a stand-alone alternator. The reason for this is that when run in the factory form on these model vehicles there will be fluctuating voltage and normally, they will charge at a lower voltage. Although this is all normal since the PCM is controlling the voltage in order to acquire max fuel economy, some will opt to go with a standalone unit to acquire a higher and more stable voltage.

MechMan Adjustable External Voltage Regulators

MechMan adjustable external voltage regulators include a 2-pin alternator harness. These combos work with most OEM and MechMan Chrysler units from 1999-2006, and will allow the user to adjust charging voltage anywhere from 13.8 to 19.0 V. Please note: Installation of this unit will leave the OEM alternator harness unplugged, which will result in the check battery light in the dash staying on all the time. MechMan 170 Amp Mahindra Roxor Add-On Alternator Kits

If you plan on upgrading your Mahindra Roxor, as many owners do, the factory alternator simply cannot keep up with the demands of heavy amperage draw components, such as air conditioning, winches, and of course, even audio upgrades can and will affect their performance. The cure for lack of amperage power for your 2.5/2.7 diesel engine is a MechMan 170 amp Mahindra Roxor add-on alternator kit. The OEM alternator utilizes a vacuum pump; it works and does the job. So, leaving that as is, MechMan took their tried and true, high efficiency Denso 6phase, hairpin-based alternator and use a precision CNC-cut bracket, ensuring the alternator is mounted solidly with no flex. A heim joint/rod end-style tension adjuster makes sure the belt can grip and make use of all the extra amperage. The alternator is painted a brilliant red to stand out, and includes mounting hardware and belt. With the alternator itself, you can expect a huge increase in output at idle, around 150 amps and a maximum output at driving or cruising rpms can achieve nearly 200 amps for the most demanding of components. Keep in mind, your OEM alternator is still supplying power as well. MechMan Mahindra Roxor add-on alternator kits provide a win/win application especially if your older and tired OEM alternator decides to fail while on the trail.
